When: Fridays, 6:00-9:00 p.m., during the school year 6:00-7:00 is reserved for the elementary students only and can parents walk around.
This program has received a complete makeover since the new manager Troy Milles took over in October . The current program is focused on safety and theme nights are scheduled once a month.Pizza, chicken nuggets, popcorn, fries, candy, sodas and other treats
are available at the snack bar. Other activities, including air hockey, foosball and video games, are available in the Whitmore Room.
Ages: elementary through 8th grade
Cost: $5.00-Incudes skates. Parents of children under age 8 skate free.
(Kids must dress appropriately).

Moms, dads, grandmas, grandpas and caregivers get the chance to fellowship with other adults, have a cup of coffee, and enjoy watching their children run, jump, ride, scoot, slide, play, read, snack and interact with other pre-school (birth to K only) children in a safe indoor park setting. At Noon everyone helps return the toys to storage
This year, we are suggesting a donation of $1.00 per family per visit.
Please Note: There will be NO Preschool Park on Nov. 11, 25, Dec. 23, Dec. 30, Feb. 24, March 17, 28 or Snow Days called by the Peninsula School District

Artwalk was launched in 1989 by a small but dedicated group of artists and gallery owners to help draw more patronage to the downtown arts scene. With the opening of the Museum of Glass and the New Tacoma Art Museum building there’s more to see than ever.
The third Thursday of every month from 5-8 p.m. member galleries have refreshments, demonstrations and artists on site. Admission to the Museum of Glass is free ,
during artwalk, the Tacoma Art Museum is free all day and the Washington State History Museum is free from 5 to 8 every Thursday. Come join the fun and be a part of the arts in downtown Tacoma

Mirrored Murrelets by Joseph Rossano
Over 250 mirrored glass birds float above the Museum's reflecting pond , appearing to skim the surface. The birds are a likeness of the Marbled Murrelet, a small sea bird found in the Pacific Northwest.
